LVD was founded to help you make the difference you want to make. We believe that a business can no longer exist only to make profit. We believe the companies of the future enable people to contribute to the environment and the global community.

At LVD, we partner with environmentally conscious print shops and work with WRAP-certified suppliers to minimize our environmental footprint. With each purchase, we donate enough to provide a child with one month of clean water to help millennial athletes see how easy it is to create a positive impact. By supporting locally, you can impact globally.

LVD started with two students trying to make a difference. Co-founders Josh Reyes and Mallory Rowan are nationally-qualified powerlifters. Spending three hours at the gym regularly meant little time to do the proper research or volunteer the time it required to help make a difference. They knew other young athletes must feel the same way, so they set out to create a community for all lifters to come together and make a difference. They reached out to WaterAid Canada headquartered in Ottawa, and instantly a partnership was born.

We are proud to be official partners of WaterAid Canada. WaterAid works in 26 countries around in the world in some of the world’s poorest and most marginalized communities. By working with local partners, they invest in the futures of communities. They use practical and locally appropriate technologies to make sure the right skills exist within the community to ensure the infrastructure is working long into the future. They have won awards for their work including a finalist for the 2015 Top Non-Profit and named as one of Canada’s top 25 charities by the Financial Post.

Last year, WaterAid reached 1.9 million people with clean water and 2.9 million people with access to basic sanitation. To end poverty, they believe everyone everywhere must have clean water and toilets. Together we can make it happen by 2030.
